CHURCH INFORMATION

We aim to provide a very friendly and open atmosphere of light and love - Spiritualism is NOT practised in dark places!
We hope that our meetings will provide you with the evidence that your loved ones are still around, watching over you, guiding you and continuing to offer their  love and support.

Some visiting Mediums offer private sittings - these may be available to non-Church Members.
Home visits can be made to provide Healing.

Formal counselling is not provided but in cases of bereavement members will offer you empathy and understanding should you wish to disclose your loss.

Membership
The Church has about 80 Members.
There is normally an initial probationary period of 6 months as an Associate Member; followed by an invitation into Full Membership.
Membership requires a commitment to the Seven Principles of Spiritualism, according to the SNU, and to assist the running of the Church.

Running of the Church
The Church follows the Rules and procedures established by the Spiritualist Nation Union (SNU).
These provide for an elected President and Committee; these are elected by the Members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in the Spring.

Building
The Church currently meets at the Melksham Adventure Centre (Just off Bath Road) in Melksham.  The building is near Kings Park Primary School and adjacent to the river.
